University of Maryland Competitive Cheerleading,
August 2002 to April 2006. Team won 2006 Division I National Championship in
April. Balanced 20 hours a week of practice and competition with being a full-time student. Competed in 12 national and regional competitions each year. Participated
in community service activities.
Terrapin Leadership Award, 2003 and 2004. An all-around award that is presented to the team member who embodies the skill, leadership and character qualitites of the ideal Maryland cheerleader. Most prestigious team award because the winner is determined by team and coach votes.
Atlantic Coast Conference Scholar Athlete, 2004 and 2005. Student athlete honor roll for individuals who are full-time students, maintain at least a 3.0 GPA and participate in a varsity sport.
Varsity Letter Winner, 2003 to 2006. Awarded by the University of Maryland for the completion of a full year on a varsity team.
